Spectravideo Quickshot IX SV1 (Trackball)Joystick Vintage Controller (RARE)Spectravideo Quickshot IX SV1 (Trackball) Joystick Vintage Controller (RARE)
Used but in reasonable condition, and a real colectors piece to display. comes with the standard 9 pin D type connector compatible with most old systems e.g. Atari 2600 ST, ZX Spectrum 48k 128k, Commodore 16 64, Amstrad CPC, Amiga 500 600 1200. MSX etc.... Does not come with a box but quite a rare item in decent condition. I have tested this and it appears some microswitch direction stick.
Here we have a Quickshot IX "Deluxe Joyball Controller" by Spectravideo (SVI). You don't see too many of them around, just one every so often, and quite a pricey collectors piece, and it's a very interesting concept. Works best for maze-type games in my opinion. It's not a trackball, and rather you push the ball in the direction you want to go and it will click (think microswitches). It is meant to be played horizontally, not vertically (note the left hand/right hand toggle switch). It also has an autofire switch. All four suction cups on bottom are present.
All our Vintage and Retro items are sent out with smart markings, invisible to the naked eye. This is to ensure that for any return requested, the actual title sent should be confirmed on return, as we have had 'collectors' and buyers in the past, attempt to send back their own inferior versions for a refund. Retro Vintage hardware items are 'SOLD AS SEEN' so no returns are accepted. The Exception being if severe postal damage occurrs, but then it will be the buyers responsibility and cost, to return this to us at that time.. The image on this listing shows the actual condition of the joystick you will receive (does not come boxed, but will be packaged well). You therefore accept these physical conditions on purchase.
All our products are sent out at set postage rates per region, per item's weight, from the UK (Guernsey) area. The initial postal rate for any CART may seem high, as we ensure all our packages are sent out with at least a 'sign for' service, which does come at a price (set by the postal servicces), and this provides very little risk of non delivery that can be claimed. We also sell many retro and vintage computers and consoles, along with many game cassettes, disks and cartridges, and vintage music cassettes?
